T-Nutrition was founded in Birkenhead, Wirral in 2010 by a small family with a simple mission: to bring the best sports nutrition products to athletes, gym-goers, and health enthusiasts — without compromise. Over 16 years later, we've grown into the UK's largest independent sports nutrition retailer, with two stores, a thriving online store, and a community of thousands of loyal customers.
From protein powders and pre-workouts to fat burners, electrolytes, protein bars, creatine, and weight gainers, every product we stock goes through a strict testing process by every member of our team. Only by unanimous decision will a brand or product earn its place on our shelves. That's our promise — and it's never changed.
Our Story
22nd May 2010 — Founded in Birkenhead, Wirral
T-Nutrition opens its first store in Birkenhead Market, Wirral — a family-run business built on passion for sport, nutrition, and honest advice.
19th May 2014 — Liverpool Store Opens
T-Nutrition Liverpool opens at the top of the Met Quarter, taking over from the former Body Active. The launch was headlined by 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman — a moment that put T-Nutrition firmly on the map. Liverpool quickly became the go-to destination for the best supplement brands and deals in the city.
2015 & 2016 - "The Rosta Years"
T-Nutrition hold's several meet & greets over the course of both years with Bodybuilding & FItness Icons of the Industry such as 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, CT Fletcher, Flex Lewis, Kevin Levrone, Kai Greene, Shawn Rhoden & 7x Mr. Olympia Phil Heath — a feat that to this day, has still not been done anywhere elsewhere in the U.K.
July 2017 — Wirral Moves to The Pyramids Shopping Centre
Having outgrown Birkenhead Market, T-Nutrition Wirral relocated to the high street at The Pyramids Shopping Centre. With increased footfall and extended opening hours to match Liverpool, the move marked a major step forward for the Wirral store, opened by none other then World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall.
May 2019 — New Wirral Flagship Store
T-Nutrition Wirral moves into a brand new flagship location — launched by 4x IFBB Physique Champion Ryan Terry, Arnold Classic Champion William Bonac, Jordan Peters, Scotland's Strongest Man Tom Stoltman, and Wales' Strongest Man Ben Brunning. The new store features on-site free parking, a warehouse, and a spacious open-plan layout — a major upgrade for customers and staff alike.
